Martyn has over 27 years training experience in the world of personnel management. He has held numerous management positions,
including; Logistics Director, Finance Director and Human Resources Director for organisations including the Defence Logistics Agency,
Commando Aviation and the UK Extreme Environmental Training Facility sited within the Arctic Circle. He was instrumental in the
development and introduction of the experiential remedial character, leadership and team development programme used at the Royal
Navy College Dartmouth for Officer Training. Trained by the SAS and US Navy SEALs, he is also an Arctic, Desert, Jungle and Temperate
extreme climatic survival training specialist. Prior to joining UPH, he was the Managing Director of a large UK based adult educational facility.
Martyn has an MSc in Management development, with his main interest lying in 'Inspirational leadership and follow-ship in high pressure
and stressful environments'. In addition, he is a Licensed Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), a Certified Emotional
Intelligence Practitioner, a Business Counsellor and holds a Diploma in Performance Coaching.
